The group stage of APAC Country Cup 2026 has come to an end after a weekend of matches, and the field has been narrowed down to the final four squads.
Group A
🇺🇳 Rest of Southeast Asia
Rest of Southeast Asia (RoSEA) surprised everyone, cruising through the group stage and not even allowing a single opponent to hit double digits. The dominant run earned them the #1 seed heading into playoffs, with Boostie and hamza, two out of the team's three immortals, leading the way. The duo has been one of the biggest threats in the tournament so far, and stopping them will be the first priority for their opponents.
🇮🇩 Indonesia
Indonesia (ID)'s group stage run was anything but easy. After dropping their opening game to RoSEA, another loss would have likely sent them home. Instead, the former ACC grand finalists bounced back, taking down team Singapore and team Philippines to keep their tournament alive. The double duelist duo of trinity and kyo has been the main source of firepower for Indonesia. With their backs against the wall, they have managed to survive. Now, they'll look to convert it into a deep run as the second seed.
Group B
🇲🇾 Malaysia
Malaysia (MY) claims the #1 spot in Group B as one of the tournament's biggest underdogs. After a shock upset against Hong Kong at the start of their run, Malaysia has continued to prove they can compete with the best in APAC. Despite losing to Mongolia in their last game, they managed to get the first seed through head-to-head tiebreakers. PhantomPiez will be the player to watch, having been awarded the ACC 2026 Group Stage MVP. With runaway and Dryer backing him up as the team's secondary stars, Malaysia will look to carry their momentum into the playoffs and make a run at the title.
ðŸ‡ðŸ‡° Hong Kong
Hong Kong (HK) makes it into the playoffs as the #2 seed, putting together a steady comeback after the loss to Malaysia. They have bounced back at the right time and now look to carry it into the playoffs. The #1-rated VCC player iongers and star duelist chingg will lead the charge as Hong Kong looks to prove everyone wrong.
