5 days remain until the beginning of the sixth season, and we haven’t properly introduced our teams yet, only providing a brief section covering them in the first article (which you can read here).

BUT FIRST - VCC OCE PATCH NOTES 6.01

Valient 5 have withdrawn from competing in Season 6, and will be replaced by NS Overtime.

50S player Zion has backed out from competing due to technical issues. Zion will be replaced by Khan.

Now, back to our teams. Grab your popcorn and a drink, this will be one hell of a read.

Each team will be introduced as this: Team Name (TRICODE) [Seeding].

Cherrys are YUCK (TOR) [#1]. Formerly Solarex, they have gathered Squish, yoppy, teasohot, Cherrys, tor and dazies to make another run in the VLR Community Cup as the top seed. Solarex unfortunately fell short to Error404 in the playoffs of Season 5. Without Error404 playing in the cup this season, they have rebranded and returned to take what was theirs.

Mommysgoodboys (MGB) [#2]. The second highest seeding of the tournament, sitting just above TXG. This squad consisting of PPGaming23, xaptos, Notion, MrK and Minimum is here to bulldoze through their group and take their shot at the throne.

TXG Esports (TXG) [#3]. One of the favourites to take it home, TXG needs no introduction in the OCE scene. Coming 5th in Premier Invite, making runs through Challengers and WaveOCE as well as hosting their own tournament, they have certainly made their mark. After the team fell apart two acts ago, they gather Vanilla, Kyuu, Multi, Fat Mawati, SilentPH and eman to form this powerhouse once more.

Atlas (ATLS) [#4]. A team crafted by cruzz and odda, recruiting masonverywell, Tim Tam, manpinapple and spenty. Fresh off the block, this team has large ambitions to make the attempt to prove that fresh blood can beat the old dogs when it comes to playing their own game.

NS Overtime (NSO) [#5]. Our last minute replacement for Valient 5. Not to be confused with Nongshim Redforce from VCT Pacific, this team consisting of S1nbad, Wolf, rice, Ryann and ALEisBOBING have clocked into their Night Shift and are here to claim their stake in this tournament.

Disproportion (DSP) [#6]. Under the coaching of the familiar name of sommboiii, this team is made up of anos, destroxx, jiropasc, FeS and xia0ling. Now, they rise to cause chaos and disorder in this OCE revival.

PupilsOfTheGame (POTG) [#7]. Joining VCC OCE for season 6, these teams better be ready to get schooled as PupilsOfTheGame are ready to enlist Zombie, pocketmeows, frogslayer, potato and zohhy to deliver heavy punishment to those who misbehave. Don’t forget their substitute asianchum, as they’ll also bring those dreaded slippers for additional firepower.

XZRT Esports (XZRT) [#8]. A new and upcoming organisation with a very young roster, consisting of Tawheed, LK, bluest, inky, eros and Taddster. Having planted themselves in the Contender league in Premier, they are here to make a name for themselves and their organisation.

50 Shoplifters (50S) [#9]. One of our two teams consisting of only solo signups. 50S has rostered nguyenboi, confucious, Niaz, labubusaurus and Khan, and they carry the 50 Shoplifters flag from Season 5 under nguyenboi’s lead. This team has everything to prove and nothing to lose.

VOLTA (MAX) [#10]. After disbanding half a year ago, this roster led by the VCC Exec Staff member Max has come full circle, gathering players lin, rek9, sjjayee, bee and nojo to make their run in Season 6.

SigmasOfAus (SOA) [#11]. This band of sigmas are ready to show the rest of the competition to not count them out just yet, looking to make their mark in the tournament scene in OCE. Composed of zxlo, ATYT, Nova, Mini, DanRdxb and substitute Gunz; these Aussies are prepared to debut a banger, having already been promoted to Elite 5 through 2 consecutive playoff wins down from Elite 3.

The Polars (ICY) [#12]. Winter might be coming to an end but The Polars have arrived to cool us down into spring as they come in with a hot and steaming roster consisting of sylas, calculus, RaveBae, yang and Beef noodle enthusiast. Teams facing The Polars better keep their gloves and jumpers on as the battlefield will lay out ice cold clutches and chilly multikills.

Touch Grass (TG) [#13]. Our second and last team of purely solo signups. With the players Cryptic, Sinon, L0k, thund3r and Vessel banding together, they are here to shake up the standings and make their place among the 5 stacks. Will this band of earth lovers be able to neutralise the odor of the top teams or will they fall short as a gang of individual bandits?

Sel’s Warriors (SEL) [#14]. Falling short of the playoffs in Season 4, Sel’s Warriors returns with sel, cfoo, Stevenfireore, Kaemo, Zikander and Rewu to take on Season 6 and their former teammate yoppy, who joined the highest seeded team Cherrys are YUCK.

With every team properly introduced, we can begin Season 6, with our next article on the group stage and all of our week 1 matches. With 5 days left before the Season starts, let us know which teams you will be supporting (and maybe pre-type the winner of Season 6).
